Reporting CME

How to Report CME Credits

If you've earned CME credit, be sure the ABPMR knows about it. There are a couple ways this information is reported and recorded in our system:

  • Self-Report

    1. Sign to your abpmr.org account
    2. Click on "Certification Dashboard" from the Welcome Back menu
    3. Click on the CME progress bar in the ‘My Timeline’ section of your dashboard
    4. Click on the "Add New Credits" button at the top of the page
    5. Fill out the form and click "Save" or "Save and Add Another"
    6. After saving, exit either by clicking the "Return to Certification Dashboard" link in the left corner or click "Sign-out" from the Welcome Back menu
  • Credits Reported by Other Organizations

In order to serve you better, the ABPMR has data sharing agreements with several PM&R-related organizations. This means that certain credits you earn with these organizations are automatically reported to the ABPMR and will appear on your Certification Dashboard a few weeks after the date of completion. If you need to modify any credit information reported by outside organizations (highlighted in yellow on your CME report), please contact the organization providing the CME credit; they will make the correction and report to the ABPMR.

See the table below for what kind of credits are reported to the ABPMR.

    • CME credits associated with ABPMR-approved SA activities

  • Credits Associated with Other CC Activites

When you complete a self-assessment or quality improvement project that has associated CME credits, the organization offering those activities will automatically report both the activity and the associated CME to the ABPMR. You do not have to self-report those credits. Keep in mind that every organization has a different reporting schedule, so it may take time for the credits to show up on your Certification Dashboard.
