“I am grateful to be selected as a board director of the ABPMR and look forward to the opportunity of working collaboratively with this board to optimize our certification processes, both from an initial and continuous certification standpoint. In particular, I look forward to assisting in the transition of our subspecialty certifications— following in the pathway of core certification— in utilizing longitudinal assessments for continuous certification,” said Dr. Pruitt.

Physician board directors of the ABPMR serve up to two five-year terms, and Dr. Pruitt begins his first term in August 2022. Welcome, Dr. Pruitt!
