End-of-Year FAQ

Our office will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 28 and 29, and we will reopen on December 2. The ABPMR office will also be closed in observance of the holidays from December 24 through January 1, reopening on January 2. If you have questions about maintenance of certification activities at the end of the year, don’t worry – you can still access your MOC Homepage during the office closure. We won’t change any certification statuses until we have received transmissions for CME, accounted for payments made over the break, and logged new data.

PIP Spotlight: Reducing the Rate of Acute Readmissions in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility

September’s PIP Spotlight was submitted by Brittni Micham, MD. Dr. Micham submitted this PIP completed during her residency in order to bank credit for her future MOC requirements. The project focused on reducing the number of readmissions from inpatient rehabilitation back to acute care.
