PIP Spotlight: Decreasing the Rate of Transfers From a Rehabilitation Hospital to Acute Care

February’s Practice Improvement Project (PIP) Spotlight was submitted by both Robert Wilder, MD, and Alan Alfano, MD. Dr. Wilder and Dr. Alfano’s project examined the rate of acute care transfers at their rehabilitation hospital and focused on improving procedures to decrease the number of patients who needed to be transferred.
