The ABPMR Appreciates Our Volunteers of 2018-19

In order to accomplish its mission, the ABPMR relies on dedicated volunteers who spend their valuable hours writing questions, reviewing exam content, helping set standards, serving as oral examiners, adding a PM&R voice to various committee discussions, and so much more.

The ABPMR wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the many volunteers who have served the field of PM&R and its subspecialties by volunteering their time with the ABPMR over the last year. Physician volunteers dedicated many hundreds of hours serving as item writers, oral examiners, and committee members.

“Our stellar volunteers are crucial to achieving the mission and vision of the ABPMR—to improve the quality of patient care in PM&R with a dynamic, reliable, and valid certification process,” says Carolyn Kinney, MD, Executive Director of the ABPMR. “We could not do our work without them.”
