New Collaboration Simplifies CME Reporting for ABPMR Diplomates

New Collaboration Simplifies CME Reporting for ABPMR Diplomates

The ABPMR is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) that makes it easier than ever to earn and report CME credit toward your Continuing Certification (CC).

What This Means for You

• No more manual uploads: You no longer need to self-report or upload CME certificates to receive ABPMR CC credit.

• Streamlined reporting: Accredited CME providers can now report your participation directly to ACCME, which securely transmits the information to ABPMR.

• Automatic credit: Within about 30 days of completing an eligible activity, your CC credit will be recorded in your ABPMR profile.

How It Works

1. Find an activity: Choose a CME activity that offers ABPMR CC credit—or encourage the provider to register their activity for ABPMR CC.

2. Complete requirements: Participate in the activity and meet any evaluation requirements.

3. Give permission: Provide your first/last name, date of birth (MM/DD), and consent for the CME provider to report your credit.

4. Automatic reporting: The provider sends your completion data to ACCME, and ABPMR updates your record.

Find CME That Counts

Diplomates can search for registered activities through CME Passport, a free online tool where you can also create a personal profile to download transcripts of all activities reported on your behalf.

Not All CME Is Registered—Yet

If an activity you value isn’t registered for ABPMR CC, we encourage you to contact the CME provider directly and request that they make their activity eligible. Your interest helps expand opportunities for diplomates.
