ABPMR Recognizes Volunteers with 10 Years or More of Service

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). Without the many hours of service that our volunteers dedicate to the ABPMR, we simply would not be able to fulfill our mission. To honor and recognize our valuable volunteers, the ABPMR created the Decade Achievement Award. This initiative honors the long-standing volunteers who have dedicated at least 10 consecutive years of service to the ABPMR.
The first group of Decade Achievement Award recipients was recognized at the fall Item Writing Workshop in Tampa, FL in November 2024. Of the 34 recipients, 16 volunteers were present at the workshop to receive a certificate and special gift presented on behalf of the ABPMR Board by Vice Chair Jeffery Johns, MD and Executive Director Carolyn Kinney, MD.
Recipients included Senior Reviewers, Item Writers, Vignette Writers and Oral Examiners.
Congratulations to the 2024 Decade Achievement award recipients!
